I am a contact lens specialist working in professional support. In my work, I help contact lens specialists make sense of questions that can bring together practical observations, technical information and different possible courses of action.

When information becomes complex, I naturally look for ways to make it clearer. I listen, try to identify the underlying question and bring the relevant elements into a structure that supports further thinking. Sometimes this leads to an explanation or recommendation. At other times, it has led me to create a visual overview or practical working aid.

I also enjoy exchanging perspectives with colleagues, sharing specialist knowledge and helping others develop their own reasoning. These experiences have taught me that a useful solution does not begin with having an immediate answer. It often begins with understanding what someone is experiencing and what still needs to be explored.

Exploring how ideas develop

My mind has always made connections between things I see, hear and experience. A question or observation can stay with me and gradually develop into an idea. Only recently did I begin learning about formal creative-thinking and design-thinking methods. The courses and books I am exploring are giving me language for some things I was already doing intuitively, but they are also showing me what was missing.

I am learning to separate spontaneous idea generation from a more deliberate development process. That includes defining a question more carefully, exploring different directions, making assumptions visible and considering when feedback or testing is needed. I do not believe every problem requires a creative method. Part of the learning process is understanding which tools are useful, when to apply them and when a simpler approach is more appropriate.

Mind of Marce

Mind of Marce is my creative outlet and an evolving portfolio of experiments. It brings together practical tools from my optical work, early concepts and reflections on how ideas develop. Some projects began with a recurring difficulty in practice. Others started with a passing observation or a question I wanted to explore.

The projects are not presented as finished or validated solutions. They document what I noticed, what I tried, the choices I made, what remains uncertain and what I learned in the process. For me, the value of this website lies in making that development visible. It gives me a place to move ideas out of my head, put them into a form that can be examined and gradually become more deliberate about how I investigate, develop and communicate them.
